Free Workshop: Making Art Supplies from Natural Materials

Learn how to make paper, ink, and other art supplies from materials found in nature! Milford artist Brittney Garth creates paper from local plants, ink from berries, pens from stems, and more.
***thumb_art3***On January 18, 1:30 to 3:30 pm, she will lead a free workshop on how she makes paper, ink, pens, and more. Participants will get to experiment with making paper out of Phragmites leaves, and practice using pens and ink made from stems and berries.
The workshop will take place at the Milford Arts Council in downtown Milford, and is sponsored by the Milford Land Conservation Trust.
